HISTORY

The Kakinada Cooperative Town Bank Ltd No C-750 established in the year 1980, as its Head Office at Veterinary Hospital Street, RamaraopetaKakinadastarted commencement of business from 22.08.1980 as per Reserve Bank of India License No ACD/AP-205PDT 28.06.1980. Initially area of operation of the bank confined to Kakinada Municipality areaand the villages situated at a radius of 10 km from Kakinada city of East Godavari District, AP. Later on area of operation of the Bank extended to entire state of Andhra Pradesh.

The Board of Directors of the Bank consists experienced and visionary professionals driven by strong ideals and sense of service, the Bank is surging ahead in the path of growth, stabilityprofitability and economic and business development. Committed to the core value of customer service excellence and propelled by the trust, Good will and loyalty of thousands of customers, our Bank embarked upon expansion and presently with 18 branches in the East Godavari District and Visakhapatnam Districts.

The KCTB adopting and deploying appropriate technologies to deliver speedy and qualitative services and improve customer service convenience through alternative channels for which the Bank occupies a prominent place among the Urban Co-operative Banks. The land marks of our technological progress include connectivity of all branches and introduction of core Banking solutions since 2012, Anywhere Banking, 8 ATM’s, contactless RUPAY debit cards to customers to facilitate any Bank ATM access across India, RTGS/NEFTe-commerce and IMPS and Mobile banking services also be provided shortly and they are under testing process.

 the Bank witnessed vibrant growth and sustains progress on all financial parameters. Our balance sheet reflects our strength and faith reposed on us by our beloved stake holders, and total business of the Bank crossed Rs 

1650+ crores.
